Screening and Keynote Address - University of Notre Dame, ACIS

Location: DeBartolo Performing Arts Center, Leighton Concert Hall

As part of the 2016 American Conference for Irish Studies (hosted by the Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies),  the feature-length version of the documentary will be screened, followed by an address by the film's executive producer, Christopher Fox, Director of the Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies, and the documentary's creator, writer, and producer, Bríona Nic Dhiarmada, the Thomas J. & Kathleen M. O'Donnell Professor of Irish Studies and Concurrent Professor of Film, Television, and Theatre at the University of Notre Dame. 

At 7:45 p.m., the Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies (Declan Kiberd speaking) will host the launch of the companion book to the series,  The 1916 Irish Rebellion, by Bríona Nic Dhiarmada and published by the Notre Dame Press.  Copies will be available for sale.  (Book launch in the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center lobby.)
