The School of Canadian Irish Studies, Concordia University hosts a screening of the documentary (86-minutes), followed by a panel discussion with:

Christopher Fox (Executive Producer for Notre Dame of the documentary), Professor of English and Director,Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies, University of Notre Dame

Bríona Nic Dhíarmada (Originator, Creator, Producer and Executive Producer of the documentary), Thomas J. and Kathleen M. O'Donnell Professor of Irish Studies and Concurrent Professor of Film, Television and Theater, University of Notre Dame

Gavin Foster, Professor of Irish History, Concordia University

Brian Hanley, scholar of modern Irish history and member of the Royal Irish Academy

Also of interest:  The School of Irish Studies will host a symposium on the Easter Rising earlier in the day, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the School of Irish Studies' McEntee Reading Room (H 1001.01 - 10th floor),  Hall Building (1455 De Maisonneuve W.), Sir George Williams Campus.  Speakers will include Professors Nic Dhiarmada and Hanley, with Professor Foster moderating the discussion.
