Screening of 1916 The Irish Rebellion, followed by a panel discussion, hosted by the University of Otago.

Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for nibbles and drinks, with words of welcome at 6:40 pm by Honorary Consul Niamh McMahon and Peter Kuch, Eamon Cleary Chair of Irish Studies, University of Otago.

After screening the film (86-minutes), there will be a panel discussion with:

Christopher Fox (Executive Producer for Notre Dame of the documentary), Professor of English and Director, Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies

Bríona Nic Dhíarmada (Originator, Creator, Producer and Executive Producer of the documentary), Thomas J. and Kathleen M. O'Donnell Professor of Irish Studies and Concurrent Professor of Film, Television and Theater, University of Notre Dame

Peter Kuch, Eamon Cleary Chair of Irish Studies, University of Otago.
