Location: Universidad del Salvador, Saint Ignatius of Loyola Auditorium

As part of the Irish Studies Symposium, "The Irish in America," hosted by the Escuela de Lenguas Modernas at the Universidad del Salvador, the feature-length, Spanish-language version (86 minutes) of the documentary will be screened, followed by a panel discussion with:

Christopher Fox, Professor of English, Director of the Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies at the University of Notre Dame, and executive producer of the documentary;

The documentary's creator, writer, producer, and executive producer Bríona Nic Dhiarmada, the Thomas J. & Kathleen M. O'Donnell Professor of Irish Studies and Concurrent Professor of Film, Television, and Theatre at the University of Notre Dame; and 

Diarmuid Ó Giolláin, Professor of Irish Language & Literature, Concurrent Professor of Anthropology at the University of Notre Dame.

The screening is part of the 1st Irish Studies Symposium organized by USAL and the Irish Embassy in Buenos Aires. 

The Symposium will be broadcast online via the Adobe Connect platform of the Universidad del Salvador, open and free.
